New start

Well, i didn’t manage to recover my database. Not even when i tried to import it back in Typo. There have been some power outages in the Scarlet DC, and i guess something went corrupt.
Anyways, i’m running Mephisto now and i’m not going to change back, this Blog engine is real solid and provides just what i need.
So i’ll have to start all over again. As they say : bad things are the start of something new.
August 20th, 2008 at 09:31 PM Repost: My server is in the same datacenter but unlike you my database is the completely free Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (soon 2008) Express. After the power outage it just restored itself without any problems and unlike MySQL, using SQL Server 2005 express is really free of charge :-) Yes, MySQL is open source and it's licensed under the GPL... and so are all the libraries required to connect to MySQL from different programming languages... which is a real problem... they used to be LGPL you know....
August 20th, 2008 at 10:45 PM The problem i had that i could import the DB in Typo, but it generated no output on my blog. I could however read all tables etc... I'm just guessing something must have gone wrong
